Why were you punished?: 3.4 - User failed to comply with orders under gunpoint, trying to escape when there was not a reasonable chance of doing so.

Why should this appeal be considered?: So, the rules under gunpoint state you can break gunpoint when you have a chance at cover, i did have a chance at cover, i ran through a doorway and closed the door and used the door as cover, I don’t see any problem with what i done, i’ll be more than happy to supply demo from october.

The clip for this incident is still available to staff. You may have tried to close the door and get behind it, but your assailant managed to follow you in and then directly gunpoint you when you were essentially stuck the corner. You then tried to pull out a gun under said direct gunpoint, which resulted in you being turned into Swiss cheese. A very clear instance of a 3.4 violation.

EDIT: We would also like to point out that the Rule 3.4 - General Guidelines also states what you did would only be permissible if:

...you are very close to cover that would withstand the impact of bullets and protect you for long enough so you can pull out your weapon.

The door and where you were would not have met this standard.
