Why were you punished?: 3.4 - User was driving around the Mayor, who had 25% tax and was being hunted by players, in his EMS car.

Why should this appeal be considered?: The mayor was inside my EMS car correct during which time I was doing all the duties of an EMS whilst talking and catching up with an old friend. The mayor had set 25% sales tax but this shouldn't default to someone being with the mayor as 3.4 unless a few factors are included, which in this situation they were not. The mayor had received a few adverts around the sales tax being so high.

Timeline:

The mayor received 6 adverts (2 removed) around the sales tax initially and nothing else, no in-person threats nobody following or doing anything violent. I then left the Mayor at the pd for roughly 10mins and within this time 1 advert was made. I then picked the Mayor up again and drove around and in this time nobody noticeable was following us (I spotted a car or two but did a loop and they never followed) or making any remarks around us. I then got an F6 from Medium with the concerns and then I dropped him off at PD and left the Mayor.

EMS being with the mayor when sales tax is 25% shouldn't be an automatic death warrant for the mayor and therefore shouldn't be treated as such from a rule perspetive otherwise why have it? 7 adverts in total and the majority towards the start with no other factors, wouldn't automatically presume a death sentence. If people were following or even more people with guns following ,then yes this factor would be a plausible threat to life but just words alone shouldn't be.

Involved - as I killed the Mayor.

The Mayor received plenty of adverts and was mocking citizens over his high taxes. I was one of the vehicles constantly following/looking for your RS4 Avant having spotted the Mayor in it at City Hall, followed you to bazaar and continued to search for you.

@GamingPeach I can actually confirm that the medic driving was attending to duties and reviving people with the Mayor in his vehicle and have evidence to support this. The Mayor is extremely lucky that there were several police cars around during the time the medic was reviving people otherwise he would of been killed much sooner - as I have recorded at least 4 opportunities of his death if PD weren't on scene. I believe the Mayor should be warned for 3.4.

My point is highlighted further by your response. If sales tax of 25% is a death warrant, simply putting it unless budget is less than $10k would be 3.4, you might as well start warning every mayor and anybody who spends an extended amount of time with them (unarmed) which is why I strongly disagree with the decision on how this was enforced by Medium. If you had been successful in following me and again more so if you were following an visually armed asboutely it would be 3.4 from me but from your clip and my situational awareness you weren't able to follow me for any period of time which would be suspicious.

I would disagree. You acknowledge death threats made to the Mayor, multiple times, yet still drove him around knowing he was being hunted for his taxes. He had activated every possible policy and raised all taxes. The clip provide supports you were doing your role as a Medic, however you are failing to acknowledge that you are both breaking 3.4 - in my opinion.

I find it hard to believe that I have 4 clips showing my car following/beside your RS4 with the Mayor in and you didn't see nor suspect nothing was about to happen - despite it happening in both business and the city. I believe my org member also had it confirmed that you were/should not be ferrying the Mayor around.

Can you please provide these 4 clips? I am confident at no point did you follow us apart from point to point which is just going business gas station to city gas station for example. The ONE and only death threat I acknowledge was people saying let’s beat the mayor up with a bat. Said in front of myself (medic) and the mayor wasn’t even around at this point. I even alerted the police to this.

Here is 4 examples of the threats made and the mayor's response what are in my console still. There are more including my own advert asking the mayor to lower the taxes.

1. Thomas Barnhart: HEY MAYOR SINCE YOU WONT LOWER SALES TAX IM NOW GOING TO KILL YOU WITH MY REMINGTON. HAHAHA GOOD LUCK ARRESTING ME!! UNDEMOCRATIC AHH MAYOR (Mayor's response whilst in your car: Victor Wolf: I never said I was democratic, i am more a facism enjoyer)
2. Lebrauno Tauno: Mayor lower the taxes or we`ll turn this city into gotham. (Mayor's response whilst in your car: Victor Wolf: I love gotham)
3. Thomas Barnhart: Last chance mayor lower sales tax or we will start a protest outside your office
4. Thomas Barnhart: The mayor has gone absolutely insane sending special police to harras and arrest a man with tourretes and raiding homeless shelters
Victor Wolf: You call that insane? I call that tuesday


In the clip provided, thats me following you with the Mayor in your car twice. Here's another 2 examples where you drive into PD and leave him for approximately 2 minutes. If staff want my POV, happy to provide demo's.

Right my final response

1. This advert was deleted
2. Adverts 2, 3 & 4 fine no issue but again these are just words, which is my entire dispute basis.
3. First clip I get out of your view and therefore, you are out of my view, you may have been looking for me I did not know this. I believe I clocked you at business roundabout and to see if you were following I did a full loop around the roundabout you did not follow and went to highway, what can I say more than this?
4. The 2nd clip you have provided pretty much shows nothing but me going to PD and dropping the mayor off.

Again, you have issues with it but all I got from the entire time was a few adverts made and nothing else. I even checked to see if we were being followed but from my checks and looking around, nothing obvious and your clips prove only that (more so your first clip).

The whole idea behind rule 3.4 is that players should not be putting their lives at risk unless there is a beneficial reason to do so. In this case, there is no benefit to you in transporting the Mayor around, and there is a clear risk to your life by doing so. At the point of you driving the Mayor around, he had sales tax set to max and had policies in place which would justify him being killed.

Throughout the time you spent with him, multiple adverts were made by various individuals, which would suggest they intended to harm him, which then in turn, puts your life at risk as you had him in your vehicle. Furthermore, at one point the Mayor even told you to "GO" due to him obviously being followed which you assisted him in getting away.

It was clear in this scenario that you were aware the Mayor was being hunted and you put your life at unnecessary risk by assisting him despite being a Medic who was completely unarmed and defenceless against said people.
