Why were you punished?: 3.13 - User harvested drugs while PD was actively breaching their property.
Why should this appeal be considered?: My organization asked me to come to Slums 3. Upon entering my apartment, I saw paramedics leaving and police with their weapons holstered. I assumed it was a Code 4 situation since I wasn’t asked to leave or given any instructions.
At this point, I entered the property and went into one of my rooms, locking myself inside to avoid interfering with the arrests happening beside me as I didn’t want to disrupt the investigation. While inside, I began harvesting my weed until I suddenly heard a battering ram being used to breach the room I had just entered. This is why I said, "Why are you guys raiding? That's crazy," because it genuinely was.
I was never asked to leave the building, never asked to leave the room, and there was no search warrant. The breach confused me because, from my perspective, it was an invalid entry and an abuse of power by the SSGT, who had no apparent reason to breach my property. This was the only reason the "rule break" ever occurred—it shouldn’t have happened in the first place.
I also want to emphasize that I had no weapons on me and surrendered almost immediately upon seeing the TFU enter my room. They did not announce their breach or order me to surrender upon entry. If I had known what was happening, I wouldn’t have continued harvesting, but I had no way of understanding the situation.
I have nearly a month of playtime on this server and one of the cleanest records I know of. I do not intentionally break rules, and I hope my explanation makes that clear in this case.
