Why were you punished?: 3.12 - User killed the Mayor for an invalid reason

Why should this appeal be considered?: Hi, I'm making this dispute because I feel as though I was just in assassinating the mayor. During the mayor campaign, the mayor promised "1% sales tax, Advanced training and more!" I checked the taxes, and they were not 1% as promised so I put an advert to kill him and did so I believe 5-10 minutes after the advertisement. I was later then warned because even though the 1% taxes were promised, the mayor said "I had the taxes at 1% for an hour, I never promised them forever" or something like that. The rules in 3.12 dont state how long a mayor must have his promised things for. It just says you may assasinate a mayor for "Breaking promises related to city management or taxes". Never gives any guideline as to how long a promise must be kept for. I believe I was justified in killing him as they should have been 1% throughout the mayor campaign, or he could have also resigned too if he did not want to keep his promise.

Because they were kept at 1% for 1 hour, that's apparently a promise being kept. Who sets the bar here? does that mean keeping taxes at 1% for 30 minutes is keeping a promise too? what about for 15 minutes, or 5 minutes or 10 seconds? A promise about taxes was broken. Just because taxes stay at 1% for an hour, doesn't mean they still cant be broken later in the future.

There are many ways a Mayor might harm a player or their interests. Below are the examples lifted from rule 3.12 Mayoral Assassination:

• Breaking promises related to city management or taxes

he said in the report "i never said I would have 1% tax forever". That means I can set it to 1% for 5 seconds, then jack it up to 19% and my promise wont be broken with that logic, just because he didn't use the word "forever". It seems very misleading to do something like this

Saying this then taking action on me is honestly worse than what american politicians do

There was no 19% sales tax. The rules state you can kill the mayor for breaking a promise, and the promised 1% sales tax was removed, so we killed him

I needed crafting materials. Specifically lots of chunk of plastic in bulk i was going to spend 300K. I do vaultcorp orders and I am running low on chunk of plastic

i can show you here is my storage, i just came on to show it i have to go for a bit. I do keep a lot of things in bulk. I even use these to mass-craft weapons or meds/crowbars/lockpicks or even when im basing with my friends they will randomly ask me to make some kind of weapon for them or attachment and it helps to keep lots of these materials
