Suggestion Title: World view models vs FPS view models different.
Suggestion Description: This suggestion is to have the player view model for weapons and the world view model of weapons split.
This would in turn allow for players to have their custom skins visible only in weapons they are actively holding and to prevent them ever being accused of abuse of custom textures.
Currently the line in the sand on what weapons can and cannot look like hasn’t been set. Some people even have animated weapon skins, which would stand out in combat massively.
Whilst there are potentially people actively abusing custom textures, proving this is difficult without a first person perspective of the situation with their skins visible.
Why should this be added?:
- prevents accusations of abuse of skins.
- prevents actual abuse of skins.
- player freedom of expression and creativity can be expressed without concern from people who don’t like the use of custom skins.
What negatives could this have?:
- more content potentially?
- skins won’t show in screenshots in viewmodel.
