When I drive I randomly press E without actually pressing it

Hi,

I have this weird thing that if I am driving a car, I randomly stepp out. I have tried spamming WASD in chat and it appears my keyboard randomly presses E. I have no idea how this happened and this has happened for a while now. I was hoping anyone of you know what the fuck this is.

This is happening on my laptop keyboard, not an actual one

I've cleaned it
I've ran a virus scan
I've pressed it multiple times


It happens when I press W or D. It hasnt happened pressing other keys, W and D are both next to E so it probably has something to do with that.

Maybe you've got so fat fingers that you press half the keyboard at the same time and you don't even notice?

Sounds like a hardware issue, best bet is using an external keyboard and disabling your laptop keyboard. You can disable the built-in keyboard in device manager iirc, not sure exactly how as it'll differ for different models but it won't be too hard

I do not have fat fingers, quite the opposite actually. You can see my bones but I am still a healthy weight

Honestly I dont know why I didnt think of this earlier, now I have my nice cherry keys again and the issue is gone. thanks dad
