why is it so hard to make money

I mean if you are civilian/criminal then yeah its taking ages
But when you are medic/plpd officer then when there is 25+ people in server thats easy cash for raids &cleaning bodies my record is 200k per one and a half hour as officer
You can be a mayor too and ern 500$ per minute

I know it can be hard and challenging to make money on this server at first. However don't give up, once you start to get the hang of it and after earning your first 100k it will get a lot easier! There are a few things i recommend you to do to make money.
The easiest way to get cash is to apply for on of the many legal jobs paralake has to offer. taxi driver, medic, police officer, roadcrew worker, courrier, mayor. I sale tax is 0% and you see about 25+ players on you should def be a courier. courriers get 10% of whatever they deliver as paycheck, with a lot of people ordering you can easily earn 50-100K or even more in an hour.
I wouldn't recommend taxi driver unless you really like it. You do earn some money however it isn't worth your time, if you want to earn quick. Medic and police officer are solid choices, people will always kill eachother and need cops or medics to solve/clean up a crime. Mayor also earns a good amount, however it can be very passive, if you take on this role you have to get creative on how to spend your time and make it enjoyable.
At last road crew worker, it's an amazing job and also a good one to get to know the map. RC isn't that hard to play, can get you quite some money, however less than what you get from being officer or medic.
If you want to earn more than on these legal jobs you'll have to grow drugs or fish a lot, best is to both at the same time. as starter i suggest growing mari since you can harvest it and sell it to the dealer directly without any steps inbetween. Whilst growing you should fish, this will get you to earn a lot more. growing also doesn't require a lot of attention this is why it's excellent to combine with fishing. Be aware tho when growing and/or fishing you can get raided or mugged, so when you're fishing make sure not to have any cash on you, and to put almost everythng you have in storage. I personally keep nothing on me whilst fishing.
Fishing and growing are the way to go, however it's high risk high reward. For a guaranteed income you should choose a legal job.

back longer than about 1 year ago, making money was very difficult. There was no casino, government employees had to spend money on their own fuel, medics would fight over bodies for a measly $500, new players couldn't partake in criminal activity because of terribly imbalanced marksmanship levels, the crafting system was tedious, shops were dead so you couldn't sell wares.
Nowadays, it's quite easy to make money in a session, and any job or activity pays reasonably.
If money was easy to make, people would be bored and there would be a very thin playerbase.
I would recommend fishing and growing-alongside if you are looking for a quick income for a few hours.
I would recommend purchasing premium to earn 1.75x more money in each paycheck.

Yeah I have had premium a few times but I've never surpassed 200,000 in my bank account, guess I need to just grind more.
