Suggestion Title: NERF SPEED OF BRUTE
Suggestion Description: That car is fucking 50 tons and it goes faster than my ford transit????????????

Why should this be added?:
- REALISM, NERF TFU, NERF INVInCIBLE CAR!

What negatives could this have?:
- PD crying why is 50 ton armored car going slower

What problem would this suggestion solve?: nerfing the tfu a little

No? İts well balanced at it is. Yes its a heavy car but it has the engine for that shit too.

nobody here has made any effort to argue against this, even if you claim it's balanced.

Respectfully, The only response here is 2 cop mains complaining "It's balanced It's balanced" without justifying that claim or backing it up. The point made is a strong one, so please try to refute it with reasoning and evidence.

I feel like he has a point and we should actually consider it here so that even if the BRUTE stays the same speed, we can make sense of why the hell it's faster than a lightweight van.
 
It has a top speed of like 60 it’s slow as it is it doesn’t need to be any slower
its literally an amored van that is almost invicible narrow the speed down to 40 and then call it balanced its not a super car to arrive quickly to a shootout its a tactical vehicle that should take some time until it reaches the destination and not just being used as "WATCH ME RUN ALL THE RAIDERS OVER CUZ THE ACCELERATION IS BETTER THAN ON MY BUGATI"
 
The speed for the brute is balanced as it is, due to the fact that the engine is made for the car, and its weight is not really that much.

The swat van weighs from 7 tonnes to 14 tonnes, with reference to real life armored personnel carries/swat vehicles.

Military tanks weigh between 40 and 70 metric tonnes and can reach 60 MPH.

Reducing the speed claiming it adds realism, is simply outright wrong.

While some real-world armored vehicles can technically reach highway speeds, they do not accelerate or handle anywhere near like sports cars or light SUVs. The BRUTE, as you've described, has extremely high acceleration, top speed, and survivability, making it functionally more like a tank on steroids than a real SWAT van.

3. It's not invincible and goes down rather quickly

If you get chased down by a Brute, you're either driving a cheap car or simply have a skill issue.

What would this actually solve? The Brute is typically the LAST vehicle to arrive on a scene and there can only be 1 of it.

I'm not sure if you've driven the brute as it currently is, but the acceleration is not anywhere near a sportscar.

Maneuverability is also not the best on the car, and is just fine how it is.

The brute has been the same since the beginning of Paralake (correct me if I am wrong) and there has never been an issue with this.

The brute vs the e sport players, the e-sport players usually win as the car is easily broken down by 3-5 heavy armed individiuals.

The Brute can already barely climb the PD ramp.

Have you ever even driven the Brute? The vehicle has horrible acceleration (takes it literally from Intersection to the end of City Bridge to reach top speed), it turns like an elephant (This literally used to be a part of the TFU Practical due to the Brute being hard to manouver).

yes i have driven it like 3 years ago but still the top speed is too much for an fully armored van

It takes more than 20 seconds to reach max speed using the brute.
It seems you're crying over a once off incident where a brute rammed into your car and you got gp'd, which is preventable.
It takes long enough to get anywhere with the brute so nerfing it makes no sense.

The brute cant even climb the damn PD ramp, acceleration speed is slow af already. What do you want? Remove TFU completely? Somebody is complaining we are defeding because cop mains bla bla its not that I play crim too for fucks sake. Brute is well balanced, it even goes down so quickly, just about 2.5 3 mags and boom its disabled.
 
If you put yourself in a position where you can be abused by someone in the brute, its going to happen. This was evident in the situation at Scrappys earlier where I knocked you down because you didnt know how to play around it. I assume that left a bad taste in your mouth and let to this.

The brute is pretty much fodder against groups of a larger size that either just kite it or shoot it. It turns like shit and its max speed is approx. 60mph which has been stated here multiple times and it pretty much the same as a double upgraded transit. Slowing it down would make it pretty much unusable.

At the end of the day this is just a poorly thought out suggestion made because you were mad a situation where you positioned yourself poorly and didnt know how to play around it.

nah the speed is fine, just dont get caught lacking
 
The van is perfectly fine for now, we might adjust it soon since v6 is coming out next week anyway aint that right @peeps ?

Right now we're not touching it
