Police Suggestion RTFOs having main division TFU

Suggestion Title: RTFOs having main division TFU
Suggestion Description: I feel like this is kinda dumb. RTFO stands for RECRUIT tactical firearms officer. I dont think their main division should be TFU because they are still a recruit and/or are awaiting training and therefor arent completly into the division.

I feel like mostly the thread speaks for itself. Its just odd seeing someone in the "main division" tab have "tactical firearms unit" when they are only a recruit. I feel like it should be changed to their next primary division
eg: if they are traffic patrol and rtfo, main division would be traffic.

Why should this be added?:
- It just looks odd and doesnt really make sense

What negatives could this have?:
- i dont think it can really have many negativities

What problem would this suggestion solve?: recruits having their main division as TFU when they are still not a fully qualified TFO

Id rather be able to pick my main division. As a tier 2 firearms officer, I still feel like I'd rather main patrol.

that is also a good idea, however the only issue is when it comes to trainers/command. They would be forced to have the main division as the one they are trainers in, unless they are in multiple. for example patrol and traffic, you would be able to choose between them. Nontheless, pretty good idea

The issue is that the roles serve a purpose within the PLPD backend. If you dont have the TFU Primary Role, you can't gear up as T1/T2 TFU.
An entire recoding of the backend would be necessary for it to work to begin with.

As a TFU recruit you are a member of the Tactical Firearms Unit, you’re just serving a probationary position within the role. By definition, whilst you aren’t certified for leadership or decision making, you are still certified to use a degree of TFU equipment, access the armour, and attend TFU deployments, so yes, You ARE a member of TFU as a recruit. As such, if this is the highest honour someone holds in the PD, TFU should still be there displayed badge.
