Just lost my New Player tag this morning and now that I have engaged on the forums slightly, I have decided it's about time I engage!
I hadn't played Garry's Mod in about 4-6 years before getting bored the other week and impulsively seeing what's going on GMod, joined a couple servers but I liked the structure and engagement Perpheads saw so I ended up playing a lot for the start of Feburary! The first thing that happened when I joined was an absolutely chaotic wedding that ended up in a double gay marriage instead, then a police officer ticketing me for jaywalking before dropping me $2000 to pay for it and to buy food :sob:

Since then I've been playing a lot as a Paramedic to assist and support situations while trying my hand at some of the other jobs as well. Overall while there are some more aggressive people I have found a lot of help and mentors as well. Both @Apex (I believe) and @JJB have been outstanding in guiding me through either game policy, mechanics, or just best practice so thank you guys especially!

My IC name is Kayde Sixer and I hope to see many of you around, seems like a great and fun crowd!
I am also starting to think about joining an organization, feel free to adopt me

Lo, good Kayde Sixer, newly unburdened of thy Novice’s Mark, I bid thee most hearty greetings and warm acclaim.

Right wondrous is thy tale, that after four or six winters estranged from the curious arts of Garry’s Mod, thou wert stirred by sudden fancy to return — and in thy wandering didst chance upon fair Paralake. Many realms didst thou sample, yet here did thy spirit find delight, drawn by order, fellowship, and lively engagement.

Marry, what an entrance fate ordained for thee! A wedding most chaotic, transformed into a double union of merry grooms, followed swift upon by a stern constable chastising thee for jaywalking — only to bestow two thousand coins for thy fine and thy supper besides. Verily, such strange mercy and mirth could only be found within these streets.

That thou hast taken up the mantle of Paramedic doth speak well of thy character. To run toward peril whilst others scatter, to mend the fallen and steady the shaken — these are noble labors. And that thou experimentest with other callings showeth a spirit eager to learn the breadth of the city.

As for the sharper tongues thou hast encountered — such be found in all kingdoms. Yet thou hast also found wise guides in Apex and JJB, whose counsel in law, mechanic, and custom hath steadied thy path. Such mentors are treasures rarer than gold, and it is meet that thou renderest thanks unto them.

Thy name now ringeth upon the forums, and thy voice joineth the chorus. This is well. For Paralake is not built of stone and script alone, but of souls who choose to engage.

Shouldst thou seek a fellowship or guild to call thine own, fear not — for many banners fly within this city, and doubtless some worthy band shall gladly claim thee as comrade.

Walk boldly, Kayde Sixer. May thy shifts be busy, thy coffers honest, and thy adventures plentiful. I trust we shall cross paths anon within the bustling ways of Paralake.
