Hello i have a very big problem with my game performance like i did an windows Update for 26h2 before i had version 23h2 and before when i had like 50 around 80 fps i didnt have any lag spikes but now when i play i have a massive lag spikes for some reason, i dont know what is really the issue and i keep lag spiking constantly and micro lagging

( tho i think its fro mthe windows version or there is some issues with some random driver )

Thanks if anyone could help me out!!!

And before ( today ) when i was on 23h2 i wasnt expiriencing any of that and i somehow deleted the files and i cant revert it back to that version and sadly i need to stay on this one and figure out a silution to fix it + when i shoot it lag spikes like crazy

Hey. Recent Windows updates also screwed up my computer and, for some reason, about 30 GB of RAM (I only have 16) were allocated to zombie processes, and this kept on happening even after formatting my computer. I guess the first question is, is the lag only happening in GMod or does it also happen in other games / apps?

i just started up cs and it looks blurry or the screen is on vsynscing with the game it self so it is probably the windows update ive done

@Vollgas you are expiriencing the same lag issues as me? Currently my fps on cs is dropping like crazy
I was, but I fixed it. It's not a particularly straightforward issue to diagnose nor fix, but I'd start by joining a game and seeing which resources your computer is consuming the most.

How did you fix it

It was an outdated drivers issue from my integrated graphics card (I play on a laptop, so it has the integrated one and the normal one) that started to cause infinite zombie processes to appear with some fuckass windows update. A clean install did the trick.
