Well, I've had a band going for a few months yet we've never really achieved anything much so we decided we'd really go at it for a song in our first practice of Twist & Shout. After around 10-15 minutes of learning we thought we had nothing to lose but studio time so we went in and went for it. Sadly, we hadn't enough time (this week) to get the drums/backing vocals in nor to revise the guitar solo so we have a very rough but fun recording.

Band:
Vocals - Myself
Guitar 1 - Liam
Guitar 2 - Pete
Bass - Sam
Drums - Jordan

Hope you like it!

Sounds good for being your first one. Could do with bit more pitch variety in my opinion but everyone starts somewhere!

Also are you aware a pocket rocket is slang for either a small spliff or a boner in your trousers

So, we've been working quite hard as a band in the past few weeks and we have had our first mastered version together of Twist & Shout, will probably be on our cover album when it's released: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B6wOdDHawiSeQndQa2pXaWdSWTRvaXZuY2RLM1RUdzVBTkZB

Following from this we've had a gig on bank holiday Monday (29th) and played a set of 4 songs, seen below:

Apologies for the occasional crotch grabs - must've been watching too much Elvis, the pelvis, in revision for music tech - I hope you enjoy it all, think we've come a long way as a band. We pulled in quite a crowd throughout our set in all honesty, I got approached by fuck tonnes of randomers.

Walter White? Is that you?

Jokes aside, it is pretty good... Now do Thunderstruck :kappa:

I played How you remind me with my old band aswell, we kinda broke up because no one enjoyed it. (i still play bass and guitar) Really got the turn up the bass, barely hearable.

The guitar intro is a tad to monotone. But it sounds really good for a first Single!!! Also that last chord, sounded like a D9 to me (could be wrong), pretty good! Try to use more chords and less power chords! Great job guys!

Well, I had another proper gig last night. Went pretty well, will have to wait for the rest of the songs to upload off of a shit phone lmao. Enjoy

I'll get figure it out up on here as soon as it's uploaded, it was our finale as well so it should be good.

Why does Pete or one of the guitarists don't know his name remind me of this bloke
