Punishment Type: Ban
Punishment Subtype: Server Ban
Appeal Type: Dispute[Evidence]
Which staff member issued the punishment?: @sidd
How long were you banned/blacklisted for?: 1 Week

Your Steam Name: Wilma King
Your Roleplay Name: Wilma King
Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:211036271

Why were you punished?: 2.5, 3.4 - User killed the mayor because he thought the taxes were high however they were lowering to 1%.

Why should this appeal be considered?: Because I followed the instructions, I checked taxes that they we're at 20% and we're at max for like 30minutes straight and multiple other people we're coming to kill the mayor I just happened to be the one to succeed and got banned for it I warned him multiple times and taxes we're extremely high so I had all the justifications to kill the mayor, but I still got banned

Are you aware it takes a minute for the taxes to go down per 1%?

This means you did not check the taxes for 25 minutes prior to killing the mayor.

Respectfully I can disprove that via a demo showing I had checked it just before killing the mayor and after and it was nowhere near 1% it was at 20% shortly after his assassination

Here is the log from when the Mayor lowered the taxes to 1% and when you assassinated the Mayor.
As previously mentioned by @Efan, the tax rate was decreasing by 1% per minute, indicating that it would have reached 19%
and continued to decline had the Mayor not been killed.
So he already changed the taxes 6 minutes before you killed him AND announced it in a Broadcast.

It's crucial to consider the Mayor's actions regarding taxation before deciding on any drastic measures like assassination and that it is in your best interest.
In this case, it wasn't, and now the taxes automatically go to the default 10%, significantly higher than the initial 1%
