What happened to event points. I miss when events had a better incentive than just bragging rights to winning them.

No idea, I kinda gave up on the whole event deal due to certain issues that I will not name here.
 
Me and @_Wxsley_ honestly had a really great time doing these events aswell, and it seemed like lots of people liked these aswell. This thread also has 43k views... damn.. Maybe @Tyla Jai still has idea's with these points?

I don't think this was reliable enough to manage, tracking them on an external google doc etc was not easy nor was it that professional or 'finished' looking. I have been better at giving forum trophies for event wins however.

I'm pretty sure you added this to the forums right? Though it wasn't really used since when it was added was also the time the custom events by me and Wxsley kinda stopped.

Events were so much more fun knowing there was a competitive aspect of earning points and claiming rewards. I remember being told it might come back and I’m excited so this is a reminder. Please bring it back!
 
This is being started up again (hopefully). Though event points are no more, rewards/prizes are just money or specific items we decide per event!
 
We did our first event since a while today! The Wreck Yard!! We made a GTA styled course where players got to choose one of 2 cars to complete it to win a prize! We would like to congratulate the 5 winners we had today and hope everyone that tried it enjoyed! 350K was given away in total, if you'd like a chance to win money in the future, make sure to join our events! @Lucius Husky

@_Wxsley_ and I will be hosting some V6 celebration events on Sunday (upcoming). We usually aim at some RP/built events so they will be later in the evening at about 22:00 / 23:00 BST. We will be rewarding people with money or items for winning the events, so make sure you're there! ;)

The events today were a bit different due to a broken event panel sadly. Though we did host quite a lot of chaos events, ranging from a code solving mystery to then a Bomb Chaos where grenades and timed explosives were dropped in an Arena and players had to kill each other to Simon Says where a few staff and a few players had the chance to play as Simon, to a map-wide manhunt including bounties and chaos. Quite some money was given away again, 425k to be precise to many different winners. Congrats!

Thanks to @rogue for permission and thanks to @Ezza for being the greatest dev for giving the temp ranks we needed!

Today another successful event evening! We did alot of events ranging from a Grenade Chaos to a VIP entering Paralake, Simon Says, a massive Slums V5 raid with @Sindarin to a bunch of other small events. A LOT of money was given away, about 1.75mil to be precise which @Sindarin sponsored 1 mil!

Thanks to @Oddy @Sindarin @Galle @babyshay @JJB @Bertie for helping with the events today!

And as usual thanks to Amazing CM @rogue for permission.

Some fun events were run today, they included: a obstacle race, a grenade wars, taser derby, murder town, and a couple other variations!

Thanks to @_Wxsley_ @Jeffrey and @Exnem for their help setting everything up and running everything and keeping it fair and square! And thanks to @rogue for again his permission and the temp ranks!

Also congrats on helper @Exnem ;), well deserved.

It was nice having my car t3 every second jokes aside this was really fun
