Authorities have lost containment. Chaos is imminent.It's time for our annual Halloween event! It's hosted by me as usual, but this year I got help from @walnash , @peeps and @rogue !
Get ready for a server-wide zombie survival showdown like never before, so prepare your defenses,
gather your squad, and brace for chaos - if you dare.
The dead are rising… and they’re hungry.
- Do not exploit any game mechanics to avoid being turned into a zombie.
- Do not climb or hide in areas that are unrealistically difficult to reach.
- No teamkilling, griefing by destroying other people's bases or cars, and avoid ruining their experience.
Event Building Guidelines:
To keep the event fair and enjoyable for everyone, please follow this year's building rules:
- You may use any props to create defenses against zombies. However, all builds must allow other players to freely enter and exit without needing to move props.
- Roof builds must include a clear and accessible way for players to go up or down - no blocked or one-way routes.
- Indoor defenses cannot block all doors or fully seal off access to buildings. Players must always have a way to enter and leave.
- Navigation should be smooth - bases that require excessive crouching or jumping to move through are not permitted.
- All structures must follow the laws of physics and remain realistic. Floating or unsupported builds (such as skybases) are not allowed this year.
Other than that, feel free to get creative with your defenses, and if you have questions or need help with props, don’t hesitate to reach out in-game or on discord: #ellieot
- As soon as you hear the siren and warning message on the radio and TV's - The event starts!
- To gear up and use weapons to protect yourself, access the trunk of any vehicle in-game to pick your weapon. (Press T)
- Protect your vehicles! They are fragile and should not be used for ramming. Make sure you bring wrenches!
- Use the /event command to coordinate and communicate with your team. (CET and zombies have separate chats.)
- Use medical resources wisely and use the green antidote when you're infected.
- Watch out for yellow blood! It’s a warning sign!
- Stay tuned for broadcasts about gear, weapons, antidotes, and hordes!
This is a server-wide event, meaning you're part of the action once you join the server.
Be aware that you can be infected at any time! Growing drugs and other activities are at your own risk, as zombies may raid your property.
Any losses you experience due to dying during the event will not be refunded, so make sure you join the event to utilize the event weapons.
Losses due to carelessness are your responsibility!
Event FAQ
Can anyone access my car trunk even if they don’t have keys?
Not exactly. Players can use your trunk to gear up, but they cannot access your stored items unless you’ve given them trunk access through the buddies menu.
I was on a job or joined the server after the event started — can I still join?
Yes, of course! Simply use the /joinevent command to enter the event.
If you wish to leave, use /leaveevent.
However, if more than 10 minutes have passed since the event began, you will still be able to participate for fun, but you won’t be eligible for the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place rewards.
I don’t have many props to build with — can I get help?
Yes! I’ll be online a few hours before the event to provide temporary building materials and assistance.
We recommend teaming up with others to increase your prop limit. Large individual prop extensions will not be provided.
Do I have to use my own weapons? Will I lose my guns if I die?
It’s not recommended to use your personal weapons.
You’ll be provided with a variety of event weapons, attachments, and unlimited ammo during the event.
Any personal items or weapons you have equipped will drop upon death, so make good use of the provided event gear instead.
Zombies raided my house and took my drugs — will I get refunded?
Unfortunately, no refunds will be issued for any losses during this event.
Since this is a server-wide scenario, all in-game risks apply.
If you prefer not to participate, we recommend leaving the server during the event to avoid potential losses.
My screen is blurry — how do I fix it?
That means you’ve been infected, and the virus is spreading.
You’ll need to find and consume an antidote quickly before the infection fully takes over and you turn into a zombie.
Do I have to build a base?
No, base building is optional.
You can choose to stay mobile, hide, or team up with others instead.
Just make sure your location remains accessible to other players and doesn’t violate event building rules.
