There is many possibilities as to how this happened, however it is very likely it came as a result of a RAT.

Cheating software is notorious for having malware in it. So if you tried to cheat and are on the list of banned people, a fresh reinstall would do you good.

Alternatively, but less likely, it may have been from a password leak outside of the community and people repurposing their passwords.

And it was more than 5 accounts that were affected.
