well like one of the staff keeps pushing, downloading something sketchy would do it. Though considering it was like 5 different users, that would mean 5 people all had to download the same thing meaning someone FROM the forums shared something sketchy, potentially intentionally.

There is many possibilities as to how this happened, however it is very likely it came as a result of a RAT.

Cheating software is notorious for having malware in it. So if you tried to cheat and are on the list of banned people, a fresh reinstall would do you good.

Alternatively, but less likely, it may have been from a password leak outside of the community and people repurposing their passwords.

And it was more than 5 accounts that were affected.
