Myself and a friend were browsing the public server list a couple weeks ago having only played in private sessions until that point & joined perpheads just for shits and giggles to have a look. We initially joked about the length of the rules but decided to commit to the bit of reading through them for 30 minutes and we were expecting to have a meme about and then hop off, but we ended up loving the focused structure of the server and sticking around

We both had zero roleplay experience beforehand so it's been a new experience for both of us and the community has felt very welcoming as a new player; we've come across so many helpful people that have taught us the ropes through in-character contexts and it's been awesome. Can't believe it took so long to try something like this out.

My favourite bit so far's been running into recurring characters in different scenarios and I look forward to meeting many more interesting characters the longer we stick around!!

Personal shoutouts to:
- Michael Peters for teaching us the basics through assuming a mentor-bodyguard role for our first few days
- Peter Slater for teaching us about furnishing and physics gun manipulation through rping an interior designer that hadn't realised he was getting involved with a weed farm
- Buck Dusty & Gord Chesterman for roleplaying hilarious road crew - in a three-day timespan Buck was a witness to us getting run over, towed us after our first breakdown, both robbed us in disguise in our first silent raid and then ran into us at the beach the next day pretending nothing had happened (allowed us to get a feel for how/when to recognise a character and the shit they come up with on the spot is hilarious)
- Curtis Ahmed & Greggory Skittle for showing off Gang Life™
