The reason I want discuss this is that the hit-reg is most of the time bad, and it can take a long time to have an understanding of timings in this map and you get flanked a lot from different angles. and raiding at least for me doesn't give a lot reward.

i dont enjoy pvp, theres too many problems with it

- hit reg is horrible no matter what ping ( .50 going through someone with no dmg more than half of the time ive ever used an as50 )
- audio is horrible (suggestion made -> fix helps -> v6 comes out and audio still bad -> suggestion made -> 1 year passes -> still not fixed -> where the fuck am i getting shot from -> i dont want to play anymore )
- map was not designed with pvp in mind ( yes bro lets make foundry virtually unraidable by adding 9 km sightlines with no ability for counterplay )
- org meta ( base with 999 ally and 999 org member and 999 flankers and 999 cops and 999 civs breaking 3.4 with reports taking 20 min to solve )
- rewards are meaningless ( grow -> harvest -> dry -> sell -> gamble/spend -> repeat ) ( get gun -> use in raid -> die -> ok )
- 90% of pvp is rp-less ( raid and bank spam ), the last 10% are with new players who join the server actually wanting to roleplay
- no true pvp endgame ( you only keep playing this server as a pvper if you have no other games to play ) other than spamming as50s every raid

there would be more rp pvp if raiding wasn't the main way to pvp. the fact is that 90% of players on this server spend their time growing and drying by themselves in a base while tabbed out watching youtube. if you can make more money by not interacting with a single person on the server for 24 hours straight than by actively roleplaying (government jobs, crafting/selling, etc), then there is a serious flaw with the server's progression and something needs to change. this has been a preexisting problem in v5, but exacerbated by how gigantic v6 is in comparison.

Believe it or not, I do quite enjoy PvP. I'm not a competitive gamer so I don't try too hard and usually limit myself to one or two shootouts every PD shift, otherwise I avoid them like the plague because they typically embody everything I dislike about PvP on PERP. When I'm civ PvP for me is not an isolated thing that I do specifically to do it, it's a means by which roleplay is furthered. I do sometimes engage in shooting people, mainly @Dick Harris.

I like putting weight on PvP so that every time I get into a gunfight I am scared for my life and doing it because of an underlying well developed grudge. I do not immediately jump to shooting at people who have wronged me, instead preferring creative methods of retriubtion that leave the other party able to respond in kind. I enjoy situations where I lose as much as situations where I win because the story I am sharing with the counterparties is more important than my survival (OOCly, of course.) If I win, I will still try by most means to get my counterparty revived.

I like the gun system and how actions feel like they have weight behind them. I do not play competitively enough to typically care about hitreg issues, instead my complaints with things not working when they should are reserved for spike strips.

the hit reg is something i accept because there isn't much to do about it, i get confused with audio especially how big and open this map is so 90% of the time you don't know where you get shot from and it turns out it's a pistol cop setting under a tree next to wood cabin 1, rp is not much encouraged either it's just usually the same small group that play the server since it's created that do rp because they 100% everything already and the others just want to shoot cops and raid. the best part of pvp/rp is the hostage situations when pd raids happen but then it phased out. and also there is a lot of toxicity between pvp players so it becomes a cesspool
