I don't think this is the same problem that you have: when i start loading after 2 mins the screen freeze and then it goes again, but sometime it crashes with an error saying no response from server, but if i try again it works

Is your PSU old? it could be failling, or it can not provide enough power to your compoments, this can also crash your PC if its under heavy load. Ensure the inside also isn't as dusty as the saharah desert, if it gets too hot it can also shut down

De-sub on every GMOD addon you have. (GMOD Workshop > Explore > Subbed Items and de-sub on all.) Than delete the addons folder and your GMOD will have LESS issues, LESS loading time and LESS crashes. Also it will prob fix every issue you'll ever have on GMOD.

Every time I try join a medieval server it loads me into the game and I instantly freeze on the motd and the game stop responding, I can join other community servers without a problem. I don't know if it's the motd crashing my game or what but I have joined the severs multiple times before.

nope, nothing, it'll load for a while with things working and then after a few seconds it'll just freeze and close down Gmod peoples limbs seem to be flailing about a lot too

wow no shit i actually tought aliens where the cause of your issue. Use the uninstall all function in gmod because THAT many addons will probably crash a recourse intensive gamemode. and load times will improve too
