Right now, meth is probably the most pointless thing next to shrooms. There's no practical way to cook a large amount in a rational amount of time which makes it essentially useless since no one wants to spend 15 minutes to only make a $1000 (or less) profit. The only real way to do so is the "fence method".
However, I've been told by staff members that this is no longer allowed which essentially makes meth pointless, since if it explodes there's no way whatsoever to place other containers back near a heat source without them exploding. What I think should happen is that either:

Right now, the way of telling the status that meth is in is quite unrealistic since it's just floating text over the containers. There should be a new system where the phases are shown by different coloured smoke (similar to that in the original PERP gamemode) coming out of the top.
'Cooking' phase
The 'normal' cooking phase should be a normal white colour (as in the original gamemode) which slowly rises out of the top.
'Danger' phase
As soon as it reaches the current 'danger' phase the smoke should come out at a much faster rate and a different colour (maybe a disgusting yellow colour). This could also cause damage and the 'high' effect when you go near it (refer to my first suggestion)
Cooked
As soon as it is finished, the smoke could either halt or return to a steady rising white smoke as in the beginning.

- Allow meth to be created when compacted together (it's the only practical way at the moment)

There's no practical way to cook a large amount in a rational amount of time which makes it essentially useless since no one wants to spend 15 minutes to only make a $1000 (or less) profit. The only real way to do so is the "fence method".
- The main risk of meth becomes toxic fumes that are constantly emitted during the cooking process, and explosions are a lot more rare.
- The containers aren't sent flying everywhere when there is an explosion, since if you're making lots at a time (the only viable way of making a profit), the containers fly everywhere and there's no way to safely dispose of them or place them back near a heat source.
