Description of the idea:
Give the desert eagle and SW500 more vehicle stopping power and penetration against both armour and solid objects.
For armour damage, these guns suffer. Well, not so much the SW500 but the deagle especially. The desert eagle rounds Damage can be greatly sponged if you shoot your target through a chain link fence. Against body armour as well, the deagle seems to suffer.
The typical standard for high end patrol vests for police body armour are resistant to Calibers up to .44 magnum, meaning that .44 magnum is the round that‘d most likely tear through it. If .44 magnum is the limit, then .50 AE would tear through it with more ease, and the .500 magnum would glide through it like butter.
The SW500 and desert eagle also do disappointing damage to vehicles, which is weird given that desert eagles chambered in .50 AE can literally shoot through a car, let alone the .500 magnum which greatly outperforms the desert eagle velocity and stopping power wise.
Why should this be added? (pros):
- Desert eagle can be more than just a cooler looking and sounding version of the M1911
- Makes sense
- The fact that both weapons already feature low capacities, sluggish fire rates and more difficult to control recoil stats than other pistols is already a fair justification for a general power buff.
What negatives could this have? (cons):
- Idk, people complaining that cops are easier to kill for less money?
- Making it cheaper to disable a car could be bad too I guess.
