History
924 Gilman Street or 'Gilman' as we like to call it is a music cafe where we mostly play punk rock, but we also allow other genres/ subgenres such as Funk, R&B, Ska, Reggae, and most recently old school hip hop. Our club was founded in 1984. Unfortunately we had to shut our doors back in '88 because of our members' vandalism and drug use which led the police to shut us down. We're now opening our doors for the public agian(don't tell the cops )! We've made a big reputation for ourselves with having multiple now world know punk artist play at our club such as: Green Day, Operation Ivy, Rancid and The Offspring.
The Club
We're located in the business zone for those wondering. All ages are allowed as long as you are not breaking the rules. If you want to learn more about punk, hardcore punk and ska punk then I suggest stopping by!
