Alright they should be uploaded. This is my final entry to the Action Request. PLEASE READ IT before any final decisions are made.
To start I just wanna say that I haven't really consistently played PERP in about over half a year now, only played like 3 times recently, so I wasn't really expecting a report to be made against me. I thought I did a good job following rules while I was visiting the server but if I broke 3.4, even slightly, I can't say I'm surprised. It's one of the more complicated rules, and I'm rusty so, idk shit happens man. If I broke a rule an didn't realize it I guess I did, but I don't ever TRY to break them.
SOOOOO ANYWAYYSSS Here's my side of the story based purely off of memory and the fact that I'm now home (I got off of work early) and can think clearly. If it's not exactly how the clip/demo plays out I'm sorry, I am just unable to review my POV and refresh my memory because my demos are crashing my GMOD application.
HERE YOU ARE:
Way I seen it, even if you didn't hear shots or a raid David, it still shouldn't be 3.4. I say this because I'm almost certain the person that was standing around and following me around during the raid called it in to the 911 app. (the reason he got gunpointed, not for mugging, I never stole from him, he was gp'd just cause he was acting strangely/wouldn't leave and I wanted to ensure that I don't get shot when I turned my back to him to leave) An I'm even more certain that the TFU seen me gunpoint somebody as it was outside when he followed me into the parking lot and then leave the scene of where the raid at was that the TFU would've been called to. This was also before he could clear the building (and then find nobody inside MEANING that I AM OBVIOUSLY THE RAIDER HE'S AFTER) and lastly, I'm also certain he wouldve radio'd to you or to anyone else on duty that he had just seen a man of my description leaving in a black tesla. An yes, I did get away from regals for a few minutes and didnt get chased, but I figured that was only because of where my car was compared to where the cops was. My car was in the regals parking and the cops was in bank parking so by the time i got out of the city area, heading towards suburbs the cop only would've only been just passing PD at most and not known whether or not I had taken the highway or backroads. Basically I had figured that I just gotten lucky or bought myself some time.
But then when I was sitting in suburbs hiding from cops, I had seen the guy that I had gunpointed at regals pull into the area, seen him on his phone, and then seen him lurking about as if he was looking for something or SOMEONE, so I drove to the other side hoping he didn't see me, then he drives over almost straight to me seemingly with a purpose, and then before he gets close enough to me, I seen a cop car pull into the suburbs area to which I tried avoiding by going and sitting in a parking spot. I sat there for less than a minute before I pulled off out of the parking spot and tried to flee from the area because at this point I'm spooked and can tell that the the guy I just gunpointed and that cop are trying to get close to me. As soon as I do that the cop turns his lights and sirens on and starts chasing me so I book it, because at this point I don't know if he's trying to stop me for the raid at regals or for something else, but considering I was just sitting in a parking spot prior to him chasing me I had no reason to believe it would be for anything other than the raid at regals.
Way I see it though, even if the reason for the stop was for something else it still isn't 3.4 because of my perspective and understanding of the situation while it was unfolding. From what I was able to understand of the situation in the moment that you had turned the lights on to pursue me. This was what was going through my head; I was just clearly seen only 5ish minutes ago commiting crimes chargeable of up to 9 years in jail, and I have a very recognizable appearance, some would say unique. So stopping for you, assuming it was only for something unrelated, would have been a bad move. Seeing as I would've given you the time needed to ID me and recognize me as the same suspect with the same description given by the TFU I knew had caught me red handed 5 minutes prior. Meaning stopping for you for any reason even if just for a speeding ticket would've meant also being caught and charged 9 years in jail for the raid I did 5 minutes prior.
From my perspective, and the only way I can really see this is that I would've still been putting my life and liberty at risk by stopping my vehicle for you, no matter the reason for the stop, because I wouldve also been identified and recognized as the same suspect on scene where the raid took place. This would've got me charged for 11.11 (i think idk it's been awhile, whatever the charge is for raids) which is a 9 year jail sentence. Meaning I should have the right within rule guidelines to try and flee or even defend my freedom.
Way I see it stopping for a cop that you know is going to recognize you for a crime you were seen committing by police only a few minutes ago and then getting charged with a 9 year jail sentence is also putting your life/liberty at risk meaning it is also considered a 3.4 rulebreak in this situation. That's why I didn't stop. Clearly, in this situation, stopping would've been a 3.4 rulebreak. So considering what I did is the opposite of stopping, than in this situtation I didn't break 3.4. To say that I did break 3.4 by doing what I did would mean that I was screwed either way. Seeing as both outcomes are technically 3.4, and seeing as that doesn't make sense for both ways to be 3.4 I'm going to say I am innocent of the accusation.
Only thing I can say is maybe the staff will review the demo and say that I had no reason to believe I was being searched for, but I just doubt that, only because as I said it was only a few minutes prior and that cop could clearly see me doing what I was doing and the situation at suburbs really did look like I was getting slowly boxed in, not to mention my identifiable appearance, so in essence I just tried to preserve my freedom as well as not break any rules as I usually do (I have a relatively clean record despite the fact that I used to be hella active) and I did that based off my perception and perspective of what was happening around me no different than I did here.
That's all I have to say as for my side of the story and why I think it isn't a 3.4 rulebreak. Thank you for your time.
