Why should this player be punished?: I believe he wrecked my car on purpose cause it doesnt even go more than 40 miles per hour and he did it in 1 min after he stole it

As I stole it a cop heard the alarm and saw me driving away, so I was trying to escape and I ended up getting hit head on in a collision which wrecked the car, it wasnt on purpose but I did kinda feel bad about it I just didnt know whose car it was so I couldn't pay them.

The reason provided displays that the crash was quite likely unintentional given that there was a head-on collision with the vehicle caused from police.
