As with any other community, the number of administration staff available to players are more than likely to decline over this season due to personal commitments. This thread will outline some basic advice on how to approach situations where you would need an administrator, but one might not be available.
For Reports
If you feel that someone is not playing by the rules, submitting a report usually gets you the help you need. This may become less possible over this season, so there are other steps you can take:
- Still submit the report, so that a staff member can consult you when available.
- Try and settle it yourself, after the situation has concluded, ask if the party in question would kindly meet up ingame to discuss what happened, or do so on our TeamSpeak (IP: perpheads.com). Be civil and do not make any outright accusations in global OOC. If a party recognises that they've behaved inappropriately, they may offer their apologies and even compensate for lost items.
- Take evidence, submit it on the forums. It would be a good call to install a DVR like plays.tv especially over this period, but if you cannot do this, there is a useful guide on how to review your automatic server recordings (demos).
- Most of all - be good to each other!
For General Help and Support
One of the fastest ways of getting your question answered is via the community. There's two ways in which you can do this:
- In-game, use the /help chat to put your question forward.
- Use the support section of the forum.
For Police Department Assistance
Please review the guidance available in the Police Department section of the forums. If you can't find what you're looking for, submit a helpdesk ticket.
For Bugs/Development
Provide information on the bug and how to reproduce it here.
