I'm not really active anymore, this was more of a one night stand with your ex type situation. But I'll drop a reply here anyway.

I bobby pinned your door and turned the corner, there you were behind concrete barriers topped with some spotlights with a bathroom full of drugs and a Galil (i think - is that even a gun that's available in perp anymore? I've lost track) on your back that I have no doubt you would whip out and use to defend yourself.

I personally would classify that as a threat to my life and plenty reason to do what I did. I've always killed armed people on sight in raids. This is the premise behind the use of C4 and grenades. Admittedly there could have been some rule changes that I wasn't aware of but with a quick check that doesn't seem to be the case.
