Suggestion Title:
Audible Alarm Inside Fire Departments for Active Fires

Suggestion Description:
Implement an in-station audible alert system within fire departments that activates when a fire event is registered. The alert would trigger after a configurable delay, allowing the fire to develop naturally before notification. This approach maintains realism by ensuring the incident is first logged through dispatch prior to alerting units on standby.

To prevent repetitive or intrusive alerts, the audible system should be directly tied to the fire event itself rather than the dispatch notification feed. Each alarm should trigger only once per generated fire incident, eliminating alert spam while preserving situational awareness for on-duty personnel who are inside the station.

As an alternative to a station-wide audible alarm, an on-duty pager-based alert system could be implemented for firefighters. This system would notify only active firefighter units when a fire event is registered, ensuring alerts are limited to relevant personnel and reducing ambient noise within the station.

The pager alert would activate after the same configurable delay as the in-station alarm, allowing the fire to progress naturally and maintaining realism by ensuring the incident is first logged through dispatch. Access to the pager alerts would be restricted to firefighters on duty, preventing non-fire personnel from receiving or hearing the notification. Similar to the audible system, the pager alert would be tied directly to the fire event itself and would trigger only once per generated incident to avoid repeated notifications or alert spam.

Why should this be added?:
I was sitting and pondering last night after an arguably unethical amount of grinding the firefighter job and I noticed something. Over the nearly 24 hours I spent sacrificing my sanity to rank up, there were a lot of inconsistencies with actually being able to see the automated fire alerts in the incidents list. The call logs frequently became filled or spammed, which made it much harder to spot active fire incidents in the surrounding area.

What negatives could this have?:
There is potential for the audible system to become repetitive or intrusive if the same alarm is triggered repeatedly. For this reason, I propose tying the alarm directly to the fire event itself, with a delayed timer aligned to the time it takes for the automated incident message to appear or trigger.

What problem would this suggestion solve?:
These systems ensure firefighters are notified of active fire events in a timely and realistic manner, even when dispatch logs are cluttered. By tying alerts directly to the fire event and limiting them to a single notification, they reduce spam and alert fatigue. The pager option provides role-specific notifications for on-duty firefighters, while the in-station audible alarm keeps units aware without relying solely on dispatch, improving response times and maintaining immersion.

I think this is a cool addition for Firefighters, I'm unsure how it'd work, maybe tie into the incident menu and make an alerting siren when a new incident regarding fire(s) has been made? Overall cool suggestion.

i highly support this idea i always thought firedepartment was a bit under appreciated development wise this would help it be a more fun career path in paralake
