Why should this appeal be considered?: Since I can’t truly explain myself or anything I would just want to apologize. I did shoot at a vehicle that had came onto the property multiple times obviously scoping for a raid . When the report was open you can see how compliant I was . Even offering the gun back before anything was said . The staff member ignored this request and began grilling me about this issue and immediately told me I’d be banned . Only then did he ask for the weapon back in which I refused . I didn’t believe at the time nor do I believe now that we should reluctantly follow orders for staff who can’t even try to level with players . My initial ban was only for 2.5 weeks .
Additional Information: Not only do I believe since I’ve served the initial time given before things escalated but the length of the 2.5 ban was only given from past experiences. Yes the one prior was handed down by Ezza again . This was an incident I take full responsibility for and am not in any way trying to justify . The 2.5 ban before this handed down by LG was because a new player started hurling racial remarks regarding my ethnicity. Yes I didn’t follow up on discord because I had a sick child to take care of . But I also didn’t try to turn the ban around because this server is a little too lenient with new players especially ones who say things that cross the line . I have proof from in game reports where I shot someone at bazaar for literally saying he would grape my sisters and woman in my family .. when the report was open the staff immediately dropped the situation against me and instead said he’d “give the guy another chance since he’s new “… this may not be a reason to take matters into my own hands but this original 2.5 that was enforced by LG has really left a stain on my record so I would like to address that situation. I apologize for my toxic behavior and the somewhat lack of respect it seems I’ve shown this server. Perp will always have a special place in my heart and these days I need to get on more than ever .. I promise upon my return to not only attempt to start fresh but to take care of others like I have been trying to . Before my ban I was spending real life funds to buy coins and sell them for dirt cheap to shop owners in bazaar to not only support the server but to support the people of Paralake . Please consider this apology and allow me to redeem myself . (ADDED IN 1/24/26 )After posting this I decided to scroll through the Perpheads website and stumbled on a seperate page specifically to help players better understand 2.5 , After fully reading through this i can understand how my initial actions in this recent incident were not the greatest. I realize firing at this vehicle (even if i was suspecting them to raid and it had been their 3rd time on the property) started an easily avoidable shootout in which i killed the player . I also realized that 2.5 isn't just killing someone over a minor situation or words, but that it is also a rule set in place to protect Paralakians from their immersion being ruined or deliberately messed with . I have always treated fellow players with respect and have showed immersive, goofy , yet serious roleplay and the last thing i would want to do is mess up someone's experience on this server . I remember very few individuals outside of our organization showed me gratitude and kindness when many others didn't . Especially while i was new. I can respect or understand if this Ban isn't lifted but even if my time could be shortened i would appreciate it . I truly believe that i could become a true law abiding citizen of Paralake . I have friends that still actively play and have been super active in our org, bazaar, and on the police and medic force . It sucks that i can't enjoy it with them because of foolish acts that i tried to justify. And to Ezza directly i would like to apologize for disrespecting you both verbally and over text in the report. Staff members who are actively enforcing rules for the betterment of our community shouldn't be disrespected no matter if the other person may be right or wrong . This respect should be honored , and to a higher degree considering you are a developer staff member . At the very least i ask for Ezza to accept this apology moving forward.
