Why should this appeal be considered?: Hey,
So I was banned back in 2022, but honestly, at the time I had no idea why. I just stopped playing and didn’t really think about it. This year I reinstalled GMod and tried to join the server, and it says I'm still banned.
I spoke to my brother about it — he used to play on the server a lot — and he told me he got banned along with a bunch of his alt accounts. My name is Hakim Suleman, and I've never been banned from your server before, not even warned. My brother, Rahim Suleman, is the one who was banned.
When I checked the ban list, I noticed my account got banned the day after all of his accounts. I think there’s just been a mix-up because we share the same last name.
If you check the Steam profiles, you’ll see my account (Suleman) has been around for years, while all of his accounts (Rah1m, Rahim Suleman, tgandu100, rahimsuleman900) are brand new. That should help show I’m not him.
If needed, I can even prove who I am with ID or jump on a video call — whatever helps. I’ve only ever had one account, and he’s the one who made multiple after getting banned.
I get how the mistake happened, but I’d really appreciate it if you could unban my account. I shouldn’t have been banned for stuff I didn’t do.
