Why were you banned/blacklisted?: 1.6, 3.2 - User was metagaming with his friend, was dishonest in the admin sit.

Why should this appeal be considered?: This appeal should be considered because although the clip provided by ALOO89 STEAM_0:0:169228602, (https://perpheads.com/threads/action-request-i-dont-know-3izu.58636/) It does look very suspect, In my demo I believe I can confidently prove I was not MetaGaming. I am an active member of the server, with a minimal ban history. I even spent the entire of yesterday teching showing new players how the server works. I only hope this evidence can be taken into consideration as I really enjoy playing on Perpheads.

Additional Information: In the video I sent as evidence, at the start I wrecked my car with all of my organisation members inside. After asking to see if anyone had money to repair my car I withdrew money and called roadcrew. AT (1:35) I tell the players to go to our base and i would wait for roadcrew as that was the origional plan. After they leave I wait for roadcrew while messing around with a few players, At around (2:19) I tried calling roadcrew a second time as the truck pulls in anyway so i end the call and get his attention. At (2:25) I use the demo feature to fly over towads our base, as you can see the raiders where already there scouting our base. At (3:26) My car has just been fixed and I am going to meet my organisation at our base. AT (3:49) entering my base I admit I should have handled the situation better, I had a few drinks IRL so my reaction speed was not the best and upon oskar jumping into my car and shouting for me to drive I just stepped on the accelerator as we were being shot at. After the man tells us to step out and I am completely cornered I stop the car and exit where I was then killed.

I am not sure why but my voice chat is not picked up in demo mode, I had to teach myself how to use demos and cannot seem to figure that out, Sorry about that. When getting banned I was not asked for my demo at any point, but was told to dispute the ban on the forum. I am still not sure what is the correct way to format these appeals so apologies if this is not how it is done.
You can still see when i am speaking from the speaker icon at the top of the screen. One of the points made by an admin as evidence of my Metagaming was my lack of using voicechat. I rarely speak during the majority of my playing I understand why the point was made but i hope in this clip you can see I just dont use my microphone often, only when I am directly doing something with someone. (like the roadcrew worker in my video, After I got his attention to my car, I didnt speak from then)

I had literally bought premium for the server that day. I wouldn't risk getting banned the same day. I understand looking at the video submitted by ALOO89 STEAM_0:0:169228602 that it looks like I was just called over by Oskar to save him, however I hope that with this evidence you can see that I really did just get my car fixed and drove over. Unfortunate timing on my part. I admit continuing to drive while being shot at was stupid and not what i should have done. But I really wasn't Metagaming.

You were banned for the Projex incident not the Parker one, I would advise you to provide this demo: perpheads_demo_2023-11-20 22-53-15.

Alternatively, you can have your friend (Oskar) provide footage of you requesting magazines or you can provide footage of Oskar Giles requesting the Famas.

This dispute will be dealt with by other staff members, I am only clarifying which situation you were banned for.

EVIDENCE:

This second video starts about 40 minutes after the previous video ended, I went back to my car and got it repaired then went to have a smoke. During this IRL smoke I spoke to oskar on the phone, not to metagame (i was not on my pc and had no intention of returning until after I had smoked. We spoke about how we were just trying to help new players and it was annoying that we had been raided 3 times within the last 2 hours, while only trying to show new players the game. I had lost most of my guns and Oskar had lost all of his (i assume) so I mentioned how I only have 2 guns left a FAMAS and Beretta but have no magazines for it. He said he could give one to me when I get back. This was the extend to which our conversation about perpheads was. If this is metagaming then can someone let me know because I am under the impression this is allowed as i was not at my computer but outside IRL.


The video evidence:
At (00:20) I arrive at our new building because our old one was raided, it turns out our new one was raided too a few moments before, the police told me to go so I left. I thought i would drive around abit and then see if it had cleared up after a few minutes.

At (1:10) I arrived back at the organisations appartment, noticing oskar was in the parking lot. I parked my car and went to the front door after I realised we could actually enter our appartment.

I would like to point out the amount I have actually said in game at all. I am in a university house and was not trying to be loud. Throughout the entire time of me being at projex I only spoke a few words. Oskar and our other members can vouch for me on that as I only really spoke when showing them how to buy clothes or grow drugs.

At (3:33) after looking at the setup of our new appartment Oskar says "wait someone is breaking in"
At this point I lock the new player inside the back room to keep him safe and I begin to prepare for the raiders that oskar announced

I remember that oskar has no weapons and go to see if i do still infact have the FAMAS and Beretta. AT (...) I drop him the FAMAS because HE HAD NO WEAPON and he just gave me Beretta mags.

I see how this looks like I asked him for magasines and the truth is I was meant to have those magazines but because I was NOT metagaming. He only dropped them after we had already started getting raided. I would like to point out he ALREADY had the magazines in his inventory before throwing them to me, This shows how it was already planned for that exchange to take place

At (4:40) they break in and ofcourse since I did not prepare well I was killed.

At (5:50) the moderator tells me there is an action report against me and asks me about the Parker incident, (already convinced that I am metagaming at this point) This happened a while ago so i asked some follow up questions like when.

I will not include this interview as im sure the moderator already had this recording (and can hear my side of it) but Innitially I was questioned about the Parker incident, I told what i could at the time,
(At this point i had not seen the report made by ALOO89)
He then moved on to the magazines and was convinced we was metagaming (this was at 1 AM after I had a few drinks, this paired with me being not the best spoken person convinced 3izu that i was lying and being uncooporative. I was told footage would be reviewed to see. I believe this is when he questioned oskar about the events.

The moment he returned I was told I would recieve a one month ban due to me and oskars stories being "different" (which i further point out should PROVE we are not metagaming). I dont see how the video could have been reviewed aswell as oskar been accuratly questioned within the 5-8 minute window of time between. telling me you would review the footage and telling me I would recieve a ban for this.

I would like to add out how me and oskar did not negatively impact anyones gameplay, quite the contrary as we were tryijng to make a positive impact with new players and getting them to enjoy the servers learning curve. If anything our gameplay has be impacted because of this, I was killed after leaving my vehicle at parker after complying with the gunners demands. aswell as not being heard out.
I believe the person who wrote this action report is friends with moderators, so i would like to request a moderator who is not associated with ALOO89, to get as fair a review as possible.

I assumed the Parker event was what was more pressing as this is what origionally was Accepted by the moderator,

aswell as oskar's ban involving rules broken during the Parker incident.

So you guys failed to communicate in-character?

The rule specifically states "Any and all forms of communication about any topic which affects In-Character decisions must be conducted through In-Character methods"

I am unsure how much exactly you spoke except what you have admitted, but it seems like you did not speak in-character when the decisions must be made in-character, I believe Oskar also said something along the lines that before you guys went into the apartment that you guys spoke about giving stuff and you did I believe? Do you remember what you told 3izu?

This was unclear to me, and I will admit to this, I was under the impression this was not metagaming. I believed that since i was not playing perheads and I was not intenting to dicuss anything about the server while i was having break. I was still not metagaming in the way I was accused and banned of by 3izu.

The point I want to clarify is that our conversation focused around perheads for practically 3 sentences, where I was expressing annoyance at us being raided.
I was NOT planning anything,
I was NOT about to jump back on if oskar told us we were being raided (which had just happened in projex while I was smoking)
I was NOT scheming about what our organisation should do
The conversation was NOT giving us an unfair advantage
I believe that the few scentences I did say about the server while not playing perheads should not have resulted in a 1 and 6 month ban for me and oskar respectively.

The fact 2 people where banned the next day for 6 months for Mass RDM, an action affecting a large number of peoples experience on the server, when all me and oskar where doing was helping new players and showing them the ropes. I believe this is very exsesive as we had not affected anyones experience, if anything we hopefully made the server fun and easy to understand hopefully making some returning players.

The parker incident was not what I was banned for apparently, however i doubt that 3izu thought i was innocent of the situation at the time of speaking to me and is likely the REASON he was observing me for a suspect moment where it looked he said I was "asking for a mags" ofcourse i cant say this with confidence this is just how the situation felt to me. especially with the previous point i made in my previous comment that:

Me and Oskar are both regulars who enjoy the server, and now we have been given straight bans that last longer than the premiums we just bought.

If the reason for the 1 month ban is because we were being "uncooperative" I have to argue that we were not, I was innitially asked about a situation that occured about an hour before the elleged projex incident. Furthermore 3izu who apparently checked footage and interviewed oskar in the space of 5-8 minutes was convinced we were metgaming and thought I was just trying to lie to him. I doubt anything i wouldve said then could have changed his mind unless ofcourse I said I had a demo of me asking oskar for the mags (which i want to clarify I had no idea how to even use demos before i had to write this appeal). I think a one month ban was unjust as the extent of which I was metgaming aswell as my uncooperation was clearly exagurated

Despite it being unclear to you, technically you did break the rules as per say, I understand the other stuff you say, however this should've been done in-character.

If the few scentences I said to oskar while not playing perpheads must result in a ban I would like to request a review of the time we have been banned for.

Lengths are not reviewed within disputes, this is only for disputing the validity of your punishment, however if you disagree with your length/punishment given, you must make a staff complaint for it here.
