Why were you punished?: 3.5, 3.4 - User died in a raid at Hungriges and came back to the outside of Hospital at the edge of his NLR zone and attempted to pick up a SCAR from the same situation that was still on-going. User died as a result.
Why should this appeal be considered?: First off, thank you for reviewing this.
I've indeed died in Hungriges as a result of a raid, although was not aware the raid was still on-going, as per 3.5 i am required to forget about my past life, that is what i exactly did.
Terminology states "While waiting for their NLR timer to run out, players should not wait in the vicinity of their NLR zone and should stay a reasonable distance away."
I didnt intend to wait in the area, original thought was going to the city garage, not to wait around also i thought i was in reasonable distance because my indicator wasnt telling me anything at all + i had no visual no hearing of the area.
Original thought was using the overpass in order to go to City Garage, which in the meanwhile i've seen a single SCAR-L lying on the ground, without anyone present in the area (its just a muscle memory i've used the highway overpass instead of regals overpass, it was not intentional to use highway overpass however that area highway overpass was out of NLR zone anyways)
At the time my NLR timer did not show i was near it, and as far as my knowledge if we cant hear or see what is going on at the last spot, we can pick up a gun or do whatever we want, and at the time i didnt see or hear anything at all.
As shown in the clip i hear shots, i instantly stop picking up the weapon, keep in mind i get input lag and start picking up the weapon after the shots were fired (like 40-50ms delayed), but instantly stop picking it up i literally touch the weapon for a milisecond, afterwards the clip explains itself, i die because someone was apparently on the left side of me and kills me while i try to preserve my life.
I would also like to add i've seen people get warned for much worse and obvious NITRP rulebreaks not even bans, my record is squeeky clean, i dont think i broke 3.4 at all because what i did was trying to preserve my life (i didnt see anyone around at the time of pickup, no shots were fired and as soon as shots were fired i stopped picking the weapon up), i dont think i broke NLR (i had no sight of the situation, no hearing until shots were fired and indicator was not showing i was in the NLR area).
