Why were you punished?: 3.4 Not complying under gunpoint
Why should this appeal be considered?: The situation was I was nearby as out of nowhere my friend was arrested which I was stood away and didnt react in any way to draw attention which then an officer ran up to me put me under gunpoint and told me to put my hands up. Now this under your rule on the surface level yes I would be violating it but and a very big BUT I wasn't in fear for my life due the fact I know the officer isnt authorized to use lethal force in this case as I didn't react in an aggressive manner or pose a threat in any way, which the officer had said I was resisting arrest and forced me into cuffs anyway which I would say in RP appropriate and can be handled so without an admin even needing to be involved.
This leads to my second point, the officer which had cuffed me had then afterwards uncuffed me stating that I was wanted or had a warrant then I just didn't and then they left. It was all okay I went back to base the officer and I had seemingly dealt with the situation which had IMO correct RP standing and it seemed everyone was fine with it. I then get a notification that a ticket had been opened which I will admit I was very half assed on explaining the situation if I did at all due to the fact this happened like 10 minutes after I got onto the server after just coming off a 3 day ban.
I very heavily doubt this dispute will be accepted or maybe it will make my situation worse but regardless I feel like these situations where the rule is very black and white the fact is that whilst I was under gunpoint due to the circumstances I wasn't fearing for my life especially after the fact that one of my previous warns was about overreacting against an officer against a very minor charge which in this case I wasn't even being told what the charge was so this was truly out of nowhere for me.
I don't blame the staff member or whoever if someone did report me I just think the rule on this matter shouldnt be so face value and if me explaining my case properly at the time the ticket was open maybe would of cleared this up or stop this then I apologise for not explaining it properly then.
Additional Information: Even if this dispute isn't accepted I hope it will serve as maybe a recommendation as to certain situations that do not require admin intervention or if so to a very minor extent and instead can enhance rp instead as this situation for example ended with me and the officer just parting ways with no damage in any regards to either side involved.
