Why were you punished?: 2.5, 3.4 - User was spectating a PD raid failed to leave when ordered then killed a PD raider with a bat. Also picked up a gun later on causing him to die

Why should this appeal be considered?: So he told me to leave so i said fuck you so he shot me mid pd raid and i was unharmed then after i wacked my bat out and hit him after and im in the wrong whiles im new and i was waiting for my friend at police and he was Doing a pd raid after tha he made a report so i wanted to make appeal to let the staff know where im coming from and im new to this hole garymods and stuff been of and on bans all the time and stuff so i wanted to make an appeal to let the staff know in the pd raid he told me to leave i said fuck him and i was unharmed at that time so i took my bat and killed him cause he shot me so he should be in the wrong to shooting me whiles i was going to leave but he shot me so i stayed a got my bat out and stuff but even he shouldnt shoot a unhamred man when i was going to leave but he shot me so i killed him after he shot me after i was unharmed and i was armed at that time so after i got my bat and killed him

Additional Information: HE should be in the after shooting an unarmed man but i was going in the pd and then i put up a gun that i shouldnt of had so yh

Users are expected to not put their life at risk needlessly, which is why rule 3.4 was initially violated. Standing around a shootout you have no involvement in or benefit from staying in harm's way is the definition of it. That includes picking up a gun in a shootout you're uninvolved in.

In addition being ordered by a gunman to leave an area is where that becomes even that much more of an issue. Not only are you putting your life at risk, the person with the gun is telling you to leave an area, indicating you may get hurt if you continue to stay there. Further aiding the violation of the definition of the rule, when you do not comply.

As for rule 2.5, whilst typically your response would be entirely valid, the fact that you got yourself involved after the player gave you a "nice" warning and a clear sign to leave the area, this violates the rules as you've excessively negatively impacted their gameplay experience.
