Why were you banned/blacklisted?: 5.6 - Player attempted to kidnap another user from outside of the casino in order to make them his "fishing slave"
Why should this appeal be considered?: I didn't think that this would be against the rules, as far as I interpreted it, I could kidnap someone as long as I benefit from it & it outweighs the risk of the chances of getting caught.
The idea was fairly simple, there were 4 of us basing together making drugs in Hicktown, we were fishing too and then burning the fish and stocking up on burnt fish.
I thought it would be pretty funny if we got ourselves a fishing slave who would literally only move around fish from the rods, to the stove 10 feet away which would then be burnt.
I started driving around with a guy to find ourselves an obedient slave, we tried to bait a few people into our car so we can ship them off to our lake, but they didn't fancy getting in the car.
We ended up making our way to casino where we found some guy call Jago, I put my gun to him and then I told him to put his hands up (so I could see if he had any weapons) which would be followed by putting him into my car, but instead of doing as told, he decided to refuse & attempt to get into his car to make a getaway, he went to unlock his car to get in, so I just shot him before he got in.
SamSN then asked me ~20 mins later why I killed him, I explained why, my reason was valid, he asked me what my intentions were, but he didn't like the sounds of a fishing slave.
He argued that getting someone to burn your fish is the same as mugging someone but I don't see the correlation.
This conversation within the reported ended with me getting banned for 3 days over something hypothetical which I think is pretty stupid, I was banned for violating 5.6, but I didn't even kidnap anyone at that point which doesn't make much sense to me.
The rule that I was banned for states that you can only kidnap when it's 'absolutely necessary' but I can guarantee you no kidnapping situation that has ever existed on perp is 'absolutely necessary', so if we ignore that bogus part, we get "you can only kidnap someone if it outweighs the risk" which yes, yes it does. We get ourselves free labour for 10 minutes, that's a win win in my eyes.
In conclusion, I don't think I broke any rules, and the only rule I could have potentially broken was written poorly & definitely needs a re-work.
