Your Steam/In-game Name: [PH] Prepper / Bob Nixon

His/Her Steam/In-game Name: tomhillm8 / Thomas George

His/Her SteamID: STEAM_0:0:35126079

Reason: User disobeyed my instruction to perform a U-turn at the Highway Bridge due to an ongoing car accident (I'm convinced that rule 3.22 Highway Driving didn't apply at the time due to the circumstances and the fact that both lanes were blocked). User then decided to squeeze his vehicle in between the emergency vehicles. Therefore I told him to pull over at the nearest parking area. User then drove off while held at direct gunpoint in matter to avoid a $1000 ticket. He also used his microphone to mix IC and OOC; demanding me to stop the current IC action which stalled the RP situation temporarily.

User behaved highly disrespectful during the admin/moderator situation in the interrogation room while the staff member was checking for previous bans/warnings. He first told me to "Grow up" and then interrupted me by saying something which made no sense. His behavior didn't benefit the situation as it was either an attempt to cause further problems or disrespectful behavior.

+Support, kept reversing despite being on gunpoint and was quite clearly stalling the RP by trying to deem it an OOC situation.

"2.6 Reporting a Rule-Breaker- If it is believed that another player has broken a rule, the ‘/report’ function should be used to inform an Administrator. If a player(s) is in a role-play situation with another player(s) who has broken a rule, after the ‘/report’ function has been used, the former player(s) should continue the role-play situation as best as to their ability, and within the confines of the rules, until either it has ended and/or an Administrator intervenes."

This rule was definitely broken, when Thomas told everyone to just stop, so he could tell you that you cannot do what you did. What Thomas instead should have done, was make a report, then continue the situation.
Thomas may have acted slightly disrespectfully, however I don't believe it's enough to make it ban-worthy.
And he did, indeed, not react to your gunpoint. This may have been because Thomas was looking out of the back of his car, as he mentioned is what happened, along with the demo (that I have yet to watch). However, while looking out of the back of his car and backing up, Thomas definitely broke rule 3.4, as his driving was definitely illegal. Thomas broke 3.4, because as it's stated as an example of rule 3.4: "Another common example would be for a player to violate traffic laws without a good/reasonable reason."
If Thomas did however know he was at gunpoint, he would not be breaking 3.4 by violating traffic laws, but by putting his very life at risk. Either way, 3.4 is broken.

So, in conclusion, I +support

Denied

  • He hardly broke 3.4 as his actions weren't risking his life, and he did cooperate.
  • By telling you to 'grow up' he was hardly breaking 1.1 and I would not deem it ''highly disrespectful''
  • Admittedly the user did break 3.24 in the situation by stalling the RP to point something out that he could have easily done in looc, I will be talking to Thomas and giving him a verbal warning.
  • Lastly, your use of your firearm in this situation was illegal (the requirements of law 11.11 weren't met) So please, consider this next time you point your weapon at a civilian.
