Because a meal deal is something you grab for lunch or your way to work or anywhere else you’re out and about at, you aren’t supposed to eat one as a home dinner or lunch.

I do understand what he says but usually you eat whatever sandwich you got and drink and then you can eat crisps however if it's not crisps it doesn't matter at all
