Bring back police scanner codes.

Police Scanner Codes

RadioLabs - Scanner Products - RadioLabs offers a complete line of Uniden scanners for standards analog, trunking and digital communications.

Leave the ones like abandoned bicycle and animal related ones and other irrelevant shit.

It used to be that if you type in a scanner code number down gov radio, it gave you the definition. So Typing 211A Subs 3 came up as "Robbery Alarm Subs 3"

We currently only have a small number of scanner codes, some useless, such as summer uniform.

What benefits would this idea have for the department:
- Easier communication.
- Easier Binds.
What potential negatives could this have for the department:
- Misuse.
- Some numbers will come up as scanner codes in the very rare event you have to use a scanner code number in gov radio without using the scanner code.

I think this would definitely be good for easier communication with other officers and would be easier to describe situations not only over radio but gov chat as well. Would be a good addition overall.

Yeah this would be cool but I’d add that I’d rather the definition of the code be after the code

e.g.

instead of: “i am In-service[10-8]”
it is: “I am 10-8 (In-service)”

would also be nice if the bit in brackets was a different colour
