Hello

backstory:
I am used to using Steel Series Arctis 7 but I lost that one due to airport theft. After looking into Truthear Hexas, Im lost. Audiophiles know better than me since I'm not into audio. I have a standalone Fifine mic that I'm happy using so I don't think I need a headset and so I'm thinking I just want headphones of some kind that provide really good audio for gaming or general use but that are not expensive.

Prompt:
Looking to get a IEM / Headphones that are budget but provide nice audio for gaming, competitive gaming and general use within a budget of 100$ at most.

It's been a while since I've used them and they're ~50$ outside of your pricerange I can't recommend the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro enough. If you can afford to pay the price you get excellent value for your money.

I wouldn't recommend using IEMs for gaming unless you really need to. I replaced my Moondrop Aria with the Truthear Hexa, the Aria were too fatiguing during gaming sessions and had a really sharp pain for certain gunshots (in Doom). The Hexa's also fit way better for me.
For eartips I recommend using Xelastec.

For desktop I just recommend getting studio headphones. A FiiO E10K Type-C (or Olympus 2 if not available) or a Qudelix-5K if you want more usage out of your DAC/AMP and power a beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro 80Ohm's or any other studio headphones you can find that you like. There is a lot of choice but there's not much wrong you can do, just make sure if you want something that's open back or closed.
I replaced my beyerdynamic too but I don't think you'd want to spend as much as my Sony MDR-MV1 lol

If you need headset with mic I'd go with hyperx cloud II if you just need headphones not really sure but I got DT 770 pro 80ohms which they are doing their job pretty good.

I switched to Beyerdynamics DT 770 Pro 80 ohms and they’re very good but past the budget by 30$
