For example a suspect is in the vehicle and when you approach him he starts driving away in the direction of a citizen. Can you shoot the vehicle because he is a threat to the citizen hes driving toawrds? I will leave an image for clarificationизображение_2025-02-13_214405766.png

3.3 Use of Force

Law enforcement officers may use any amount of force in the execution of their duties provided that it is reasonable and justifiable.

If you deem the vehicle to be driving to cause harm or to kill. You have the right to shoot at the car to stop it. As seen in the law above it must be suitably reasonable and justifiable. As in this scenario yes as you are trying to save the persons life from a reckless driver.
So If the suspect is going the direct direction driving towards a citizen or an Officer yes you can shoot him but you the suspect has to have the INTENT to run the citizen over if thats clarified yeah.

What if the officer doesnt know the intent of the suspect in the car? Imo he can shoot to prevent the suspect's car from running over the citizen
