Can't connect

Hey so sorry if this is in the wrong section but whenever I connect to the server things'll work for a few seconds, then it'll freeze and Gmod will crash altogether. I tried rejoining about 6 times after verifying the cache but it still didn't work. Any thoughts?

don't think it's anything to do with my PC and that since I've connected loads of times before, I'll give it a try in the morning and if it doesn't work then I'll post ere

nope, nothing, it'll load for a while with things working and then after a few seconds it'll just freeze and close down Gmod
peoples limbs seem to be flailing about a lot too
