Suggestion Title: Civilian Expansion
Suggestion Description: This can work in two ways, the goal is to provide perks or a secondary org type for non criminals.
Method A) Org type:
A second type of organization can be made rather than only one. This is named a business or “corporate,” and one can’t be in both a corporate and a criminal organization. One must be chosen.
Method B) Added perks to current orgs
What are these perks?
Currently leveling up is tedious, Grindy and some jobs are in need of progression. Below I will list. A few random ideas for perks, but feel free to take the paint brush and give your own ideas for perks..
Keep in mind, below are ideas assuming that corporate / the separate org type idea is in place. If only the perks are considered, ignore the levels and just consider the benefit.
1) Seasoned Employee (Level 5) = +1 influence by default just for being in the corporate and 2.5% increased pay
2) Fishy Business (level 10) = +1 fish out of each catch and percent increased pay on selling fish
3) Good Credit (Level 15) = Buying vehicles enjoys a 5% discount and buying houses enjoys a 10% discount.
4) Basically a crafter (Level 20) = +1 perception and intelligence, also crafting time is around 25% less.
5) Secure Business (Level 25) = every property bought for the corporate is secured automatically with a house alarm and fire alarm + 5% extra pay on your salary by minute
6) Veteran In The Workplace (Level 30) = +1 influence and 5% increased pay
7) Paid vacation (Level 35) = Proven employees earn themselves an extra spin on the wheel at the casino sponsored by the corporate (free)
8) Business Connections / Dirty Thirty (Level 40) = Purchases at legal NPC shops like Veikkos, safety first, car dealer and so on enjoy a discount of 20% on purchases. Also selling to those shops is 20% better.
9) Government Sponsored (Level 45) = Making advertisements made 50$ instead of 250$
10) Spoiled (Level 50) = Refueling vehicles is now free OR significantly cheaper.
Why should this be added?:
- Massive ideas to play with
- Immensely improved the lives of non criminals
- Promotes Less grind
- Promotes Passive rp
- Benefits unpopular jobs like Fishing with a perk to help
What negatives could this have?:
- Too much work to develop
- People want dev time focused on other things
- Some perks might be deemed too good or irrelevant
