Computer Hardware Ideas?

Hey guys,

Some friends of mine for Christmas have offered to purchase multiple components to build a new computer for myself and I have some general ideas of what to purchase, but I am curious of good combinations that you guys would suggest? I am in all looking for a motherboard, RAM, and processor as I already have most of the other bits and pieces. Looking for around an average price range, so nothing overly expensive. Any suggestions, ideas?
