A lot of the time when the law enforcement catch people using a bobby pin for illegal activity, e.g. breaking into a shop and then they get shot by police in a shoot out, they drop the bobby pin when they forget to un-equip it. So I believe what should happen if you have used a bobby pin for illegal activity, law enforcement should have the option to confiscate them, like you could do to drugs by pressing E on them. However, they should only be able to confiscate them if the server has detected that they were used for attempting to break down a door. This stops the cops from theft of bobby pins, because if someone used it to break in, then gets shot and drops it, cops just pick it up and take it as evidence when in actual fact the law enforcement just keeps it and forgets about it, although some do it sneakily as you don't get the notification that you got money for confiscating an illegal item. If the cops don't have the option to keep it for them selves anymore then this will prevent law enforcement from breaking the law of theft.
Optional additions:
- Could also do the same things for crowbars, considering you can break through doors and into cars with them.
- If the scripting to detect whether or not it has been used in crime is not an option, just let them confiscate it anyway still to prevent theft, because there would be nothing else to do with it if someone has dropped it at death.
