Creating a blog

Hi guys

So basically one of my assements for university is to create a blog using WordPress.

Now the content of the blog I'm compelty fine with, but I have no idea how to actually set up the blog. I've made a account on WordPress and have domain that's not yet published.

Has anyone had experience with this? I don't want anything too complex, just some images and about 1000 words with references

Wordpress has like default layouts you can use, it's really self explanatory once you get into it
