Suggestion Title: Firefighter Missions
Suggestion Description: ---- New Emergency Missions for Firefighters
To make the Fire Department role more engaging beyond just fires, introducing new Chemical & Gas Leak Incidents along with expanded firefighter duties.

--- Chemical & Gas Leak Emergencies
- Gas Leak Events
Can occur when vehicles crash (if Friendly Fire is ON) or at gas station pumps.
Requires Absorbent Powder to soak up fuel spills and a Leak Seal Kit to prevent further leakage.
If left unattended for 5 minutes, the gas leak ignites into a massive fire.
- Chemical Leaks
Spawn randomly in industrial areas or buildings where hazardous materials are stored.
Releases toxic green smoke, causing players to cough and take damage if they stay inside too long.
Requires firefighters to seal the leak and ventilate the area.

Police: Secure the perimeter and keep civilians away.
Firefighters: Control the scene, stop the leak, and rescue survivors.
EMS: Treat civilians and firefighters exposed to toxic chemicals.
More Diverse Calls: Firefighters aren’t just putting out fires, they’re responding to a variety of real-world emergencies.
--- Essential New Firefighter Equipment
To handle these new emergencies, firefighters will need specialized gear:

- PPE Gear (Personal Protective Equipment)
Firefighters can equip PPE suits from any Fire Department vehicle.
Protects against toxic gas leaks and chemical exposure.
- Leak Seal Kit
Used to stop leaks at the source (fuel, gas, or chemical leaks).
Essential for preventing explosions at gas stations and industrial sites.
- Absorbent Powder
Sprinkled over fuel or chemical spills to neutralize the hazard.
Stops slippery surfaces and toxic damage zones.
- Ventilation Fan
Placed in affected areas to clear toxic gas from the air.
Takes 10-15 seconds to fully ventilate a contaminated space.
- New Firefighter Tasks & Roleplay Opportunities
Firefighters can also engage in proactive duties to prevent disasters before they happen!

-- Fire Alarm & Safety Inspections
Firefighters can visit unownable businesses like Uncle Cos to conduct fire alarm and sprinkler inspections to ensure buildings are safe.

Why should this be added?:
Expands Firefighter Gameplay – Firefighters will have more to do than just putting out fires, making the role more engaging.
Encourages Multi-Agency Roleplay – Police, Fire, and Medical Services all have responsibilities in these emergencies.
Adds Realism – Chemical spills, gas leaks, and safety inspections are real-world firefighter duties.
Creates More Dynamic Emergencies – Instead of only fire-related calls, players will encounter different crisis scenarios.

What negatives could this have?:
Increased Development Time – Requires coding new mechanics, such as chemical leaks and ventilation fans.
Balance Concerns – Firefighter missions might need adjustments to prevent them from becoming overpowered or too frequent.
Performance Impact – Additional effects (gas clouds, spills, ventilation clearing) may impact server performance.
Police/EMS Availability – If not enough officers or medics are online, some scenarios (like blockading areas) might be harder to handle.

What problem would this suggestion solve?: Lack of Variety for Firefighters – Firefighters currently only respond to fires, making the role repetitive.
Limited Firefighter & EMS Interactions – This update encourages medics and firefighters to work together.
Underutilized Police & Fire Cooperation – Police will now have an active role in emergencies, blocking off areas and evacuating civilians.
Lack of Preventative Roleplay – Firefighters can now inspect buildings for hazards, creating new passive roleplay activities.
More Immersive City Roleplay – Introduces realistic emergency scenarios that happen in real-world firefighting.
 
+1 I like this idea it's very creative, but like you said above it would require alot of work to make something like this happen.
 
Firefighter is kinda mid if you arent minging so this would be very cool
They are indeed "mid" that is why they need a change instead on being very repetitive, not just sitting in station and waiting for a call for it to be dealt with in 2 mins and back at FD for another 10 mins waiting for another call. Fire Department has had changes like new vehicles and the rank system (which also EMS, RC and Courier got)
 
Cool idea. I think firefighter is a great job for some ’mid RP’. I’d like to overhaul the whole job, everything from playermodels, vehicles, equipments and so on.

Unfortunately, I think there’s too much to have gas leaks and chemical spills, etc.

However, I would like to see an increase in the actual roleplay itself—not just responding to fire alarms, putting out the fire, and then heading back to the station.

For example, I’d like to see the fire truck not having an unlimited water supply, meaning you would have to connect it to a hydrant.

Regarding the fire itself and how it behaves on the server, it’s often used to destroy DNA from bodies. I’d like the smoke from the fire to be more harmful so that you can’t stand too close to it. If you do, you should lose HP and maybe experience blurred vision.

When it comes to equipment, I don’t think it should be overly complicated, but at the very least, there should an equipable SCBA for firefighters to handle smoke.

Right now, we have automatic alarms that go off from time to time. Maybe there could be red fire alarm buttons in public buildings that you can press to activate a fire alarm, although this could potentially be abused.

Love the ideas there and with the red button it will be abused 1000% of the time, like jumping on the glass at Jennifer's

And to add the the SCUBA gear for FF maybe water rescue gear for Senior FireFighter
