I don't think fishes should disappear at all, since they should be stuck on the hook, and not just flee away, the hook is supposed to be in their flesh..

Fishes can get away after they're trapped to the hook in real life if you don't get them out the water in-time/properly.
Problem is, it happens all the time and fast, shouldn't happen at all, since the hook is attached to their mouth.

Seeing as how you are most of the time just dangling the hook in the water, and not really having to give it a good jerk when a fish is caught on the rod, in real life the fish get away quite easily. Also since it is free food with no risk to your life in anyway, fish 1) can't be too easy to catch and 2) can't be over priced.

P.S. A side note to those who don't know, to cook a fish properly, put it next to a stove for a minute, when it changes to looking cooked, it's done, but don't let it go too long. No salt needed.
