Main idea: Add a speedgun for anyone in the "passenger" seat of the car (Police Officer / Traffic Enforcer)
Description: Add a speedgun or something like that to the second side of the passenger seat, allowing them to monitor speeds of vehicles in the car. This gives another thing for the PLPD to use and gives the passenger something to do as currently they just either A. Mong around or B. Tab out and watch Youtube ect.
Why should it be implemented?: This technology not only exists IRL but it also improves the way the police work because currently you cannot tell the speed of a car whilst driving so you are unable to determine if it is speeding or get an accurate reading. This implemented will also give passengers of Police Vehicles something to look our for.
My idea of how it will work: Passenger presses <button> and it brings up the display and they can then use a camera interface inside the vehicle and lock onto cars.
Pros: - Gives patrolling with another officer more of a thing to do than idling on the Police computer
- Allows accurate recording of speed limits so no more guessing if someone is over the speed limit
- Gives the Speed enforcer and RTU a reason to "2-up"
Cons: None?
