Gmod problems

Never had this pissing issue before (yes i am salty)

When i launch gmod, it launches just like normal. I can connect to the server.

As soon as i attempt to tab out, the game just tells me to fuck myself (freezes, everything is interactive in the background, but the picture of the game stays) And if it does succeed to tab out. I can't tab in at all.

This issue is driving me nuts ijadpi9uasdfuiD8Y0FHUOFNHIOHSDFGYU9

Sometimes I get that but im figuring it out.

What do you have running in the background that could be using up CPU get back to me when you can.
