Brief description of idea: Being able to switch channels during situations with a keybind maybe (something similar to the radio menu we got on civs) or switching directly from the police computer, medics & firefighters will hear all transmissions from all channels and won't be able to switch channels so they will hear the police officers calling them out in case of an emergency.
What benefits would this idea have for the department: So we can separate shootout and pursuit-related situations in order to avoid chaos on the radio, most of the time when TFU is dealing with a shootout someone will just keep radioing about a stolen car they need backup with which clogs the radio and will result in them being told to "SHUT THE FUCK UP"
What potential negatives could this have for the department: I can't see any
Other additions: I reckon channels should not be separated like FIREARMS INCIDENT, PURSUIT but instead like TAC-1, TAC-2 so when someone initiates a pursuit and calls it in telling people to switch to tac-2 other officers will switch to TAC-2 and be able to communicate without disturbing others. There also should be a general radio channel for units to join back when the situation is over to listen in to situations and general comms... lmk of stuff in addition to this
